The competition which will showcase some of the innovative research currently happening in the Science Foundation Ireland funded Centres for Science Engineering and Technology (CSETs).
During the course of the evening, which is be open to the general public, the audience will get to hear about the current world-class research happening in Ireland in bite-sized chunks.
The format of the presentations is inspired by other formats like Pecha Kucha and the Ignite series, and researchers will present their doctoral work in a series of concise, rapidly paced talks consisting of 3 slides of precisely one minute each. Essentially, each presentation is a PhD elevator pitch, and will open up current Irish research to a wider audience.
