University College Cork, Tyndall National Institute invites applications for an appointment as Post doctorate Researcher to investigate and develop very low power, scalable, easily configurable and deployable wireless sensor network systems and to strengthen industry-university partnerships as part of the Science Foundation Ireland funded CSET - CLARITY.

Role
Reporting to the project leader, the candidate will:
•    Be responsible for the specification, design automation tool development (power aware configuration automation, etc) and deployment of innovative, very low power, scalable wireless sensor networks hardware and software.
•    Support and contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students working in the area.
•    Contribute to and/or initiate peer reviewed scientific publications as well as patents in the area.
•    Travel to project meetings to present technical results and project updates.

Role

Reporting to the Wireless Sensor Network R&D activity leader the candidate will:
•    Be responsible for the specification and development of innovative, wearable wireless sensing solutions utilising a variety of state of the art integration technologies.
•    Support and contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students working in the area.
•    Contribute to and/or initiate peer reviewed scientific publications in the area.
•    Travel to project meetings to present technical results and project updates.
