Launch of Irish Software Innovation Network

CLARITY director Professor Barry Smyth, pictured above on a tandem bike, was asked to speak at the launch of the Irish Software Innovation Network (ISIN), an initiative of the Irish Software association. The network, which will function as its own self-contained unit at IBEC, will act as a matchmaking service between software companies and third-level research institutes to connect software companies to world-class expertise and research emerging from universities and colleges. Professor Smyth presentation was entitled "Successful Commercialisation of IP from a University-Lessons learned".
