Dr. Damien Maher

Damien Maher received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Dublin City University in 2005.  He is currently in the final stages of his PhD thesis at Dublin City University in the area of vibration analysis and mechanical system simulation.

He joined CLARITY in March 2009 and is working on the commercialisation of an autonomous water phosphate monitoring system.  This work is a joint venture between CLARITY and a Limerick based company, Episensor Ltd.  Episensor provide wireless monitoring and sensing solutions to the marketplace.  This project will aim to integrate the phosphate monitoring system developed by CLARITY into Episensors established ‘sensor to database’ platform.
