Alan Smeaton gave a guest lecture on CLARITY's work on lifelogging at the Department of Information and Computer Science, Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, on 9th May 2012 where he also acted as official opponent in a PhD defense. He also had research discussions on possible collaborations with Prof Erkki Oja, Director of the Adaptive Informatics Research Centre in Aalto University and member of the EIT ICTLABs at Aalto University.
