TennisSense is a collaborative project between the SFI-funded CLARITY centre and Tennis Ireland. Our goal is to create the infrastructure required to digitally capture physical, tactical and physiological data from tennis players in order to assist in their coaching and improved performance.

Currently, we have instrumented a tennis court with 9 AXIS PTZ Cameras, a UbiSense tag-tracking system and a set of 6 wireless inertial measurement units (WIMUs) provided by Tyndall. Images giving an overview of the system architecture for the WIMUs, the position of the cameras and ubisense receivers can be seen below.

Some resources still remain on the old TennisSense wiki at http://www1.atwiki.com/tennissense/ , please move them to the CLARITY Wiki as soon as possible.
